Luis co-founded Five Star Cleaning Services, LLC in 2002. Prior to founding FSCS, Luis was the manager of the fine dining restaurant at The Short Hills Hilton – at the time the only AAA 4-Diamond rated hotel in NJ. Under Luis’ supervision the Hilton’s restaurant flourished. The restaurant’s reputation for fine dining experience extended beyond hotel guests attracting diners from all over the tri-state area—its famous Sunday brunch would be booked months in advance.
Luis built Five Star Cleaning Services (or “FSCS”) on the best practices principals he learned and developed while managing the Hilton’s restaurant(s). Luis understands that his Five Star clients like his Hilton diners, demand excellence and have a choice of services in a highly competitive industry. Five Star Cleaning caters to a demanding clientele who value an award winning cleaning service perform the cleaning in their homes and businesses. |
| Blanca Midón
Co-Founder, Field Supervisor and Scheduling Director
Blanca is credited with planting the seeds of what would later become Five Star Cleaning Services. Blanca is the consumate entrepreneur and workaholic. Riding her bike (before she got her driver's license) from client to client, Blanca's attention to detailed house-cleaning earned her the respect and admiration of Five Star's very first clients, and her congeniality won over their hearts and often even their children's hearts. Blanca's days including baby-sitting and cleaning services while also providing catering services and working at local Montclair restaurants during evening hours. Blanca’s professional experience spans across a wide spectrum of the hospitality industry.
Blanca also drew upon her earlier professional work experience to help build Five Star's successful business model. Blanca owned and operated her own business as buyer for clothing and department stores in Latin America. Her boundless energy, mental speed and agility and unparalleled people skills has served her well... whether catering a dinner party or traveling throughout Latin America negotiating best terms and purchasing quality products for her retail clients, Blanca delivers excellence in every thing she manages.
Under her leadership in the field, Five Star Cleaning developed its reputation for superior cleaning quality and earned the love and respect of clients and employees alike. Blanca is currently responsible for dispatching, scheduling and supervising field operations. |

| Our Commitment to Sustainability and the Environment.
We train our cleaners to recycle trash, we prefer to use cleaning rags instead of paper towels whenever possible, we encourage our clients to use their own vacuums and filters to minimize transfer of allergens, and we gladly use products that are gentle on your furnishings and your environment.
